Accreditation: an approved benchmark for knowledge and skills

Local and international regulators agree that the skills and knowledge of individuals operating in today's financial markets should meet an approved industry benchmark. Accreditation is recognised as a best practice way to set and maintain that benchmark.

AFMA accreditation is available to individuals employed by our members who operate in the over-the-counter (OTC) and exchange traded markets. To achieve accreditation, individuals must complete one of the following programs:
